1987 Rolex Submariner (Ref. 16800)
This Rolex Submariner ref. 16800 is a very cool and transitional piece that combines the best elements of both the vintage and modern Rolex Submariner into one complete package.
The Rolex Submariner ref. 16800 was introduced in late 1979 and was the first Rolex Submariner model to include a sapphire crystal. In addition, Rolex introduced the signature click spring and the bezel became unidirectional instead of the previous bi-directional operation feature of the bezel found in the ref. 1680 offering more accuracy and securing the bezel from movement while being used for diving.

|Bracelet||Rolex 93150 Oyster Bracelet W/ 593 End Pieces|
The case is in superb overall condition with strong chamfers down the lugs and honest signs of light use, it appears that the case has potentially been polished once in its past as the factory dimensions and geometry are very present throughout. The original bezel insert remains deep black in color and retains its tritium pearl which matches the dial perfectly, apart from the light wear at the 1 o'clock position the bezel insert displays subtle signs of use. The original Rolex 93150 Oyster bracelet with 593 end pieces retains 12 links that show light stretch and will fit up to an 8-inch wrist.
The gorgeous black dial with white gold surround markers has achieved a lovely matte texture which is common in early glossy dials, the dial exhibit no notable age and no damage. The tritium lume plots aged to a charming creamy eggshell color and exhibit no degradation when inspected under U.V. light. The original tritium hands match the dial perfectly showing no degradation under U.V. light inspection. The white date wheel is original with open 6's and 9's.
None. The watch was recently serviced and is keeping time perfectly, backed by a 1-year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
