Rolex
*Unpolished* 1989 Rolex Submariner 'L Serial' (Ref. 5513) "Frozen" Dial W/ Box, Hangtag, & Accessories
The Rolex Submariner reference 5513 stands as one of the purest expressions of the classic dive watch. Introduced in 1962 and produced until 1989, the ref. 5513 enjoyed one of the longest production runs of any Submariner reference. Its appeal lies in its simplicity, featuring the iconic Submariner case design and a clean, highly legible dial free of a date complication, resulting in a tool watch that is both purposeful and enduringly stylish.

The last of the ref. 5513 Submariners produced were adorned with serial numbers beginning with a letter, not a number. These 5513s were the last of the legendary reference that so many iconic people wore and loved. These watches today have become highly desirable as they are the bookend to one of the longest-running and most appreciated references Rolex has ever produced. During this time, only very few 5513s made it off the production line as Rolex was preparing to introduce its successor, the ref. 14060 Submariner.

CASE & BRACELET
The case remains in exceptionally well-preserved, unpolished condition, boasting sharp factory chamfers and crisp factory finishing, while exhibiting light signs of use. The original Mk III "thin font" bezel insert has achieved a deep inky-navy coloration, showing no fading with almost no signs of use, and retains its tritium pearl, which matches the dial nicely. The original Rolex 93150 Oyster bracelet with 580 end pieces retains 12 links that show almost no stretch and will fit up to a 7.75-inch wrist.
DIAL & HANDS
The original glossy black dial is in exceptional condition, while retaining its glossy finish, the dial has achieved a subtle "frozen" patina that sparkles in certain lights, giving the watch a unique and desirable vintage aesthetic, though no actual damage is present on the dial. The tritium lume plots feature a vivid creamy patina and show no degradation under UV light inspection. The original tritium hands have aged to match the dial perfectly and show no degradation when inspected under UV light.
ACCESSORIES
The watch comes with its original outer box(marked 5513 tag on its side), inner box, serialized hangtag, booklets, green leather wallet, and open guarantee papers. The watch is keeping time, but the service history is unknown. A movement service can be purchased upon request.
