1991 Rolex Blue Submariner (Ref. 16618) 18K YG W/ Box & Papers
During the late 1960s, Rolex began producing the immensely popular Submariner dive watch in luxurious 18 karats yellow gold thus creating a dressed up variant of a notably sporty watch. CASE & BRACELET
The previously polished 18k yellow gold case shows light signs of use and retains very full and even lugs. The 18k yellow gold bezel is in excellent condition. The original blue bezel insert remains bright in coloration showing light use, and retains its tritium pearl at the 12 o'clock position which matches the dial nicely. The case back partially retains its original factory green Rolex sticker. The Rolex 92908 solid 18k yelloRolex w gold bracelet with 46B solid end pieces is in wonderful overall condition, retaining its Rolex coronet and showing almost no stretch from use.
DIAL & HANDS
The original blue sunburst dial is in perfect original condition. The tritium lume plots have aged to slight creamy coloration showing no degradation under U.V. light inspection. The original tritium hands match the dial nicely and show no degradation under U.V. light inspection.
ACCESSORIES
The watch comes with its original inner and outer boxes, guarantee paper, booklets, polishing cloth and chronometer seal hangtag. The watch was recently serviced and is running at COSC spec backed by a 1-year warranty on the accuracy of timekeeping.
