Hamilton
*Unpolished* 1992 Hamilton Khaki 'Military-Reissue' Field Watch (Ref. 9965)
Hamilton was founded in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in 1882 and first made its mark producing high-quality pocket watches. Over the decades, the brand built a reputation for technical innovation and purposeful design, earning particular acclaim for its military contracts and its now-iconic field watches.

The “Khaki” line emerged as the civilian counterpart to the watches Hamilton supplied to U.S. forces during conflicts such as Korea and Vietnam—highly legible, rugged, and refreshingly utilitarian pieces that embody true military cool. Carrying that legacy forward, yet elevating it in a subtle but compelling way, is this exceptionally uncommon Ref. 9965: a military-reissue Khaki produced exclusively in 1992. It features the emblematic British Military broad-arrow, a matte anti-reflective case, and full military-style caseback markings, with no overt indication that it isn’t an issued example. The result is an elusive, under-the-radar reissue that collectors often mistake for genuine military issuance—and one that remains remarkably difficult to source today.
