The Rolex Datejust is one of the most iconic and beloved Rolex watches ever made. This classic dress watch has been produced by the Swiss luxury watchmaker since 1945 and has remained a timeless classic that is instantly recognizable as an item of refined quality and functional design. The Datejust was designed for everyday wear, and its sleek and elegant design makes it one of the most universally loved watches for both men and women.

The Rolex Datejust ref. 16220 is a transitional reference as it features a tritium dial, but the movement is a Rolex cal. 3135, which possesses the "Quick-Set" date function, which comes in handy when needing to quickly adjust the date.

CASE & BRACELET

The excellent case featuring very thick and symmetrical lugs shows honest signs of light wear and nominal evidence of prior polishing. The stainless steel engine-turned bezel is very crisp, with gentle signs of use present. The original Rolex 62510H Jubilee bracelet with 555B end pieces retains 20 links that exhibit stretch and will fit up to a 7.75-inch wrist.

DIAL & HANDS

The glossy black dial is in near-perfect vintage condition, displaying no damage, with the only element of age being a very subtle spotted patina that is only visible under magnification with direct light. The tritium lume plots feature an eggshell patina and show no degradation under UV light inspection. The hands are OEM luminova service units, which are documented in the service paperwork.

ACCESSORIES 

The watch comes with its original inner and outer boxes, Rolex Datejust booklet, and a Rolex Service Center card from November 2010 with the accompanying paperwork. The watch is keeping time. A movement service can be provided upon request.
