1996 Rolex Submariner (Ref. 14060) W/ Box & Papers
The ref. 14060 Rolex Submariner was introduced in 1990 as the new and improved version of its long-running predecessor, the legendary 5513. The 14060 featured a number of improvements from the 5513, including an increased depth rating to 300m or 1000 ft, a sapphire crystal, a 904L stainless steel case, and the upgraded cal. 3000 Rolex movement. We believe the 14060 was designed with the purest in mind with a simple, no-nonsense design, and retaining a lot of the aesthetics and elements that make the earlier no-date Submariners so desirable and great.
The earlier 14060 Submariner examples feature tritium lume dials, which have become very desirable due to the vintage appeal and wonderful lume coloration changes that can happen. The tritium dials were replaced in 1999/1999 with super-luminova, making for a small 8-year production cycle for these Tritium 14060 models. The 14060 continued in production until 1999 when it was replaced by the 14060M reference.
The 14060 is, for many, the perfect cross between old and new. With modern advancements and a more classic design, the 14060 Rolex Submariner is a versatile wristwatch for pretty much every situation.

CASE & BRACELET
The wonderful case remains in excellent condition while exhibiting honest signs of use and is believed to remain unpolished as it shows original factory finishing throughout and retains its chamfers down the lugs. The original bezel insert remains deep black and shows only minimal signs of use and retains its tritium pearl at the 12 o'clock position which has aged to a slight eggshell coloration. The original Rolex 93150 Oyster bracelet with 501 B end pieces retains 11 links with very light stretch from use.
DIAL & HANDS
The gloss black dial with white gold surround markers is in flawless condition, showing no age or blemishes. The tritium lume plots are bright white, displaying no patina or degradation under U.V. light inspection. The original tritium hands match the dial perfectly and exhibit no degradation when inspected under U.V. light.
ACCESSORIES
The watch comes complete with its original inner and outer boxes, booklets, Rolex anchor, and punched guarantee papers. The watch was recently serviced and is keeping time perfectly, backed by a 1-year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
