Unapologetically bold yet perfectly executed, the Rolex Daytona Beach draws inspiration from the colorful history of the namesake of the Crown’s halo model by utilizing perfectly cut stones and lacquers. The ref. 116519 Rolex Daytona Beach was produced in an exceptionally low quantity and was offered in 4 different colors, a yellow or pink mother-of-pearl dial, a blue turquoise dial, and the deep apple-green Chrysoprase stone dial featured here. All are accompanied by matching lizard skins straps with white gold deployment buckles and accessories.
Due to the bold nature and diminutive production numbers, the Rolex Daytona Beach models have grown in popularity at an exponential rate. The exceptionally well-preserved and robust 18K white gold Daytona case retains all of its original factory dimensions and curves, showing almost no signs of previous use on the case itself. The original 18K white gold bezel is also in beautiful condition, showing only subtle elements of age most notably at the "60" at the 12 o'clock position. The case retains its original white gold crown and screw-down pushers. The case back appears to remain in crisp unpolished condition with strong factory brushing present. the watch comes supplied on its original green lizard-skin leather strap with its original 18K white gold Rolex deployant clasp.
DIAL & HANDS
The vibrant and beautifully crafted green chrysoprase stone dial with white gold Roman numeral markers is in flawless and original condition, showing no cracking or damage whatsoever with only subtle grain of the stone present under magnification. The original luminova-lumed hands are flawless showing no age or degradation.
