However, the nickname "President" is quite fitting for the Day-Date, as Presidents Kennedy, Johnson, Ford, Reagan, Nixon, and Roosevelt all wore the Rolex Day-Date. Apart from its executive affiliation, the Day-Date is a symbol of status and luxury, only produced in highly refined precious metals, including 18K yellow, white, and rose gold, and also platinum, featuring both the day and date complications within the movement.

The excellent 18K rose gold case remains unpolished with light signs of honest use present throughout. The fluted bezel remains exceptionally crisp, with minimal wear present. The case back is adorned with a case back that reads "Relatable". The bracelet exhibits no stretch and retains 21 links, fitting up to a 6.5-inch wrist. The watch comes with three additional links in its set, making for a fully linked bracelet if installed.

The factory pink sunburst diamond marker dial is flawless. The original rose gold hands are flawless.
