In 2020, Rolex refreshed the Oyster Perpetual line with a bold new direction, introducing an array of vibrant dial colors and expanded case sizes to one of its most classic and enduring collections. The update included the introduction of the larger 41mm ref. 124300, alongside the normal case sizes in 36mm, 34mm, 31mm, and 28mm—each outfitted with the new-generation automatic movement. These models retained the signature traits of the Oyster Perpetual family: clean, no-date dials, brushed Oyster bracelets, smooth bezels, and chronometer-certified performance. However, it was the playful use of color—ranging from coral red and yellow to green, pink, and turquoise blue—that set this release apart, injecting new energy into a line traditionally associated with understated elegance.
