Credited with numerous horological innovations ranging from multiple different automatic winding systems to even the tourbillon itself, Breguet left an indelible mark on the watchmaking industry and his eponymous brand is one of the oldest still in operation today, with a rich history that dates all the way back to 1775.
Featuring a 41mm case crafted from solid 18k white gold, the Breguet Tradition reference 7057BB/11/9W6 represents a thoroughly modern take on a classic Breguet wristwatch, upholding the brand’s rich traditions of fine finishing and expertly crafted movements. Although a silver off-centered dial sits towards the 12 o’clock side inside the case, the real “dial of this watch is its hand-wind Caliber 507 DR1 movement, which takes center stage and showcases its unique architecture with frosted bridges and an aerodynamic free-sprung balance, complete with a hand-made Breguet overcoil hairspring.

CASE & BRACELET
The 41mm hand-made case is crafted from 18k white gold and is cold-rolled to provide it with its distinct coin-edge design. The case of this particular example is in excellent overall condition with crisp lines and clean surfaces that appear to be free from all major signs of damage and still have their original factory finish. Completing the watch is a Breguet leather strap that is fitted with a matching 18k white gold Breguet deployant clasp.
DIAL & HANDS
The small, off-centered silver dial is hand-engraved on a rose engine and features black printed Roman Numeral markings and blued Breguet-style hands. Both the dial and hands-on this example are in exceptional condition and are completely free from any visible signs of wear or damage, with the same flawless condition applying to its Caliber 507 DR1 movement that sits on full display through both the front and back sapphire crystals.
