CASE & BRACELET
while gently showing its 50+ years of life the case remains crisp and angled, appearing to have been minimally polished in its past. While on paper the 44-millimeters may seen to be a touch large, the case actually wears remarkably balanced on wrist. The case retains its original unsigned screw-down crown placed at the now-iconic 4 o'clock position. The bidirectional rotating bezel is in excellent original condition and retains its luminous pearl at the 12 o'clock position which coordinates with the dial patina. The watch comes supplied on a 2pc Seiko rubber strap.
DIAL & HANDS
The dial is a deep, matte black. The perfect backing for the bright white and gold of the rest of the dial. The hour markers and hands are bold, and jump off the dial in such a way as to totally disallow one from ever misreading the time. The use of gold trim and lettering creates a simultaneous feeling of luxury and purpose, a deceivingly difficult combination to achieve. One of our favorite parts of this robust dive watch is also one of its most subtle contributors, that absolutely fantastic "Stoplight" sweeping seconds hand. The dial and hands all remain in excellent and original condition, the lume has taken on a handsome cream colored patina with sutble grey spots that is consistent throughtout the dial and hands.
ACCESSORIES
None. The watch is keeping time and functioning perfectly, previous service history is unknown.
