2000 Gevril Tribeca Chronograph W/ Box & Papers
The Gevril Tribeca, is probably the most famous homage to the single most famous watch of all time, the Rolex Paul Neman Daytona. When Gevril created the Tribeca in 1999 the goal was to create a fun watch that appealed to the enthusiast who couldn’t afford a Paul Newman could wear while at the same time wanting to build something of the highest quality and, from a sense of detail and dimension, totally faithful to the original.
The Gevril Tribeca uses a Hesalite acrylic crystal just like in the original Daytona and incredibly, the bracelet is highly reminiscent of the original and, if anything, features a slightly wider and chunkier clasp. Additionally, the Gevril features an ETA 2824 automatic movement paired with a Dubois Depraz chronograph module which is the identical module seen in an Audemars Piquet Royal Oak Offshore.
What's cool about the Gevril Tribeca is that it engages both actual Paul Newman owners and the growing collectors who want to approach the design and passion of the real deal in a way that is completely attainable without sacrificing quality, form, and or function.

CASE & BRACELET
The unpolished case retains sharp factory lines and shows almost no signs of previous use. The black "units per hour" bezel is also in stunning condition showing no scratches or cracks. The case retains its original screw-down pushers and unsigned screw-down crown. The case back remains unpolished as well. The original Gevril stainless steel bracelet retains all of its original 14 links without stretch and remains unpolished without scuffing on the clasp.
DIAL & HANDS
The bi-color "exotic" dial remains in perfect original condition showing no aging. All lume plots are fully intact showing no degradation or discoloration. The hands are free from any oxidation and exhibit no degradation as well.
ACCESSORIES
The watch comes complete with the inner and outer boxes, and warranty booklet. The watch is keeping time and functioning perfectly, extended service history is unknown.
