TAG Heuer 1000 Professional Diver Blue Dial (Ref 980.613N)

The Tag Heuer 1000 is a very iconic and classic Divers watch that released by the recently renamed Tag Heuer company starting in the late 1970's during the onset of the quartz boom of the late 1970s and early 1980's. The 1000 series came at a crucial time for the company as the late 1970s as the majority of the Swiss watch manufacturers ceased making mechanical wrist watches and switched to quartz circuit based time pieces as the quartz crisis took hold and became standard production at the specific period of time. The 1000 series is the watch that embodies classic and high-quality quartz precision and the 1000 series was the watch that saved the Tag Heuer brand altogether.

Tage Heuer 1000 Blue Dial

The Tag Heuer 1000 series retains all of the classics yet functional elements that make this reference from Tag Heuer an icon in its own right. The striking blue dial paired with the recognizable Heuer case shape and jubilee style bracelet is stunning when on the wrist. These elements paired with the functionality of the dependable and precise quartz based ETA 955.114/ 112 movement make this a great option for quality meets functionality.
