*Unpolished* 1968 Rolex Datejust (Ref. 1603) Black "Confetti" Dial W/ Double Punched Papers
The Rolex Datejust is one of the most iconic and most beloved Rolex watches ever made, even though the Datejust was launched in 1945 it has remained a timeless classic and is instantly recognizable as an item of refined quality and functional design. CASE & BRACELET
The unpolished case is in exceptional original condition with light signs of honest use present. The stainless steel engine turned bezel is also unpolished and in fantastic condition. The original Rolex 6251H rolled-link Jubilee bracelet with 55 end pieces retains 22 links that show minimal stretch for the style and age of the bracelet, and will fit up to a 7 1/2 inch wrist.
DIAL & HANDS
The rare and perfectly preserved matte black “confetti” dial consists of blue, red, green, and white speckling that compose the black texture. The dial itself shows no damage or age and the confetti colors are very obvious and vivd in this dial. The original white enamel inlaid hands are flawless as well. The metallic date wheel is original with closed 6's and 9's.
ACCESSORIES
The watch comes with its original Rolex guarantee paper and serialized Oyster booklet. The watch is keeping time perfectly, previous service history is unknown.
