*Unpolished* 2008 "Kermit" Rolex Green Submariner (Ref. 16610LV) Mk. V "Engraved Rehaut"
The Rolex Submariner Ref. 16610LV was first introduced in 2003 by Rolex at Baselworld to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Rolex Submariner. The 16610LV is also sometimes referred to as the "Kermit" which differentiates itself from the more modern Rolex Ref. 116610LV also known as the "Hulk" via the Black "MAXI" dial as opposed to the green dial of the "Hulk) and nonceramic green bezel insert.
The main differences when comparing the Rolex (Ref.16610LV) to the standard Rolex Submariner Date (Ref.16610) is the obvious green bezel insert and the oversized Super Luminova filled indexes, this dial configuration is comely referred to as the "MAXI" dial.
Both the Rolex (Ref. 16610LV) and Rolex (Ref. 16610) have a water resistance rating of 300M/1000ft and are made from 904L stainless steel. Both references come equipped with the modern Trip-Lock crown and Rolex 93250 oyster flip lock bracelets with solid 801 end links. Even though the Rolex Ref. 16610LV is just a few years old it has been discovered that there are 8 dial variants and 2 green bezel variants that are found in the LV references.
The "bookends" of references, meaning the very first and very last production models for a specific reference, are always deemed collectible and are always desired by collectors. The engraved rehaut ref. 16610LV's from 2008 are the last of their kind before being replaced by the later ref. 116610LV or "the Hulk", making them both unique to their own reference and era.

CASE & BRACELET
The unpolished case is excellent, retains its original finishing chamfers and dimensions with light, honest wear from use. The original unidirectional bezel remains unpolished as well, the famous green bezel insert is in exceptional condition with almost no signs of use. The original Rolex 93250 Oyster bracelet with solid end pieces is also in excellent unpolished condition, retains 12 links, and shows some light wear with basically no stretch from use. The serials on both the rehaut and between the lugs are crisp and matching.
DIAL & HANDS
The original glossy black super luminova Mk. V dial with Maxi white gold surround markers is flawless. The matching super luminova Maxi hands are flawless as well.
ACCESSORIES
None. The watch is running within COSC spec, and operating perfectly. The previous service history is unknown
