1974 Rolex Datejust (Ref. 1601) Silver Dial

CASE & BRACELET
The excellent case retains thick and symmetrical lugs that show light evidence of previous polishing and gentle signs of use. The white gold fluted bezel remains very crisp, with light signs of use present. The Rolex 62510H Jubilee bracelet with 555 end pieces is a later service unit, and it retains 20 links that show minor stretch and will fit up to a 7.5-inch wrist.
DIAL & HANDS
The original silver sunburst "pie-pan" dial is in exceptional condition, exhibiting no damage or notable elements of age. The tritium lume plots have achieved a charming creamy patina and show no degradation when inspected under UV light. The tritium hands are later service units but match the dial patina perfectly, with no degradation present under UV light inspection. The metallic date wheel is original with "open" 6's and 9's.
ACCESSORIES
None. The watch is keeping time, but the service history is unknown. A movement service can be provided upon request.
