$ 5,000

Few designers as notable and prolific as Gerald Genta come around every century, and within the world of horology, no other watch designer's name is as well-known as Genta himself. With perhaps the most incredible catalog of work, from the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, the Patek Phillipe Nautilus, and the Cartier Pasha, all the way to more obscure offerings from Omega, Universal Geneve, and even Rolex. Gerald's mark on this ever-growing industry is cemented in a state of perpetuity.

In 1969, Gerald Genta created his very own watch brand under his name, Gerald Genta, as a vehicle to create the truest expressions of watchmaking and watch design capabilities. In the year 2000, the brand Gerald Genta was acquired by Bulgari and remains today as a legacy to one of the most forward-thinking figure in watchmaking history.

The case back retains all of its factory markings in crisp condition. The watch comes supplied on a 2pc black leather strap with the original stainless steel Gerald Genta tang buckle attached.

DIAL & HANDS

The original black dial utilizes a two-toned design, with the center dial comprised of a matte texture that houses the minute track and the lume plots while the outer portion of the dial is a glossy black texture and houses the markers and numbers, along with the unusually placed date window located at 9 o'clock. Ths dial itself is virtually flawless, showing no age or elements of damage. The tritium lume plots have achieved a beautiful creamy patina and exhibit no degradation under UV light inspection. The original tritium hands match the dial almost perfectly and show no degradation under UV light inspection.
