1971 Rolex Oyster Precision (Ref. 6426) Silver "Linen" Dial

Rolex signified its more economical timepieces with the text "Precision" printed on the dial. These watches carried in-house movements that were well-made and manually wound. The ref. 6426 was one of the longest-running Rolex models spanning from the 1950s to the 80s. The Rolex Oyster Precision is a gentlemanly timepiece, both handsome and thin, perfect for daily wear and suitable for any occasion.

CASE & BRACELET

The thick case is in excellent overall condition, featuring symmetrical lugs that retain factory dimensions and gentle signs of use. The smooth stainless steel bezel exhibits light signs of use and is in wonderful overall condition. The Rolex 7835 folded-link Oyster bracelet dates slightly later than the watch and retains 13 links that show light stretch and will fit up to a 7 1/2-inch wrist.

DIAL & HANDS

The original silver "linen" dial has a handsome vintage aesthetic and remains in great overall condition with honest signs of aging present. The aging is predominantly present around the very edge of the dial so it has only a small effect on the overall presence of the watch. The tritium lume plots feature a light creamy patina, under UV light inspection the 9 and 10 o'clock plots feature nominal degradation and the rest remain fully intact. The original tritium hands match the dial perfectly with no degradation present.

ACCESSORIES

None. The watch was recently serviced and is keeping time perfectly, backed by a 1-year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
