*Unpolished* 2005 Rolex Green Submariner (Ref. 16610LV) "Kermit" Mk. IV Dial

The Rolex Submariner ref. 16610LV was first introduced in 2003 by Rolex at Baselworld to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Rolex Submariner. The 16610LV is also nicknamed the "Kermit" for it's green bezel and black dial. The ref. 16610LV is the first anniversary Submariner from Rolex and is the precursor to the more modern "Hulk" Submariner that features a green dial and Green ceramic bezel.

The main differences when comparing the Rolex ref. 16610LV to the standard Rolex Submariner Date ref. 16610 are the bright green bezel insert and the oversized super luminova filled indexes, this dial configuration is referred to as a "Maxi" dial.

Both the Rolex ref. 16610LV and Rolex ref. 16610 have a water resistance rating of 300M/1000ft and are made from 904L stainless steel. Both references come equipped with the modern Trip-Lock crown and Rolex 93250 Oyster flip-lock bracelets with solid 801 end links.

The Kermit has become a modern classic, evoking even the most seasoned vintage collectors for its many dial and bezel variants that make this reference so easy to become obsessed with.
