Horween Shell Cordovan Watch Strap (Limited Edition Reverse Black)

Horween Shell Cordovan is on of the most coveted leathers in the world due to its strength, feel, and ability to take on one of the richest patinas. Shell Cordovan is a very specific leather, from a particular part of a horsehide. The cordovan is tanned, stuffed, shaved, and then polished by hand in Chicago, IL USA. This extremely labor intensive process takes at least six months to complete and implements one of the highest leather tanning standards known in the world.

Horween is one of the oldest leather tanneries in the USA based out of Chicago,IL and has been around since 1905. Our Horween Shell Cordovan straps are made here in the USA by hand and are built to last. The straps are unlined and tack stitched at the top and at the buckle end of the strap using a vintage waxed thread for secure fitment and classic look.

This is a **Limited Edition** offering. We noticed that the back side of the black Horween Shell Cordovan straps took on an amazing patina when worn on the wrist. The reverse side of the hide has an open grain quality and offers a very vintage and distressed look when patina is gained from use. you can also see the outlines of the famous Horween stamp and each strap offers a unique look and one of a kind feel.

Our Horween Shell cordovan straps in black come in 18mm, and 20mm sizes and taper down to fit a standard 16mm buckle. Each strap has the official Horween Shell Cordovan logo stamped into the back of the strap. A stainless steel buckle is included with the strap, (Gold buckle can be added by request)
